Sacked Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says he’d like to manage a club in France one day, as the 56-year-old awaits his next opportunity.
Speaking to Portugese publication Record, Mourinho said he is proud of the fact he has worked across four different leagues and would relish the chance to coach in Ligue 1.
“I see myself coaching in France one day,” he told the newspaper. “I’m a man that has worked in four different countries and that likes other cultures.
“I like to learn a lot and to work in a different league would be a fantastic experience.”
Mourinho has worked in the Portugese Primeira Liga with FC Porto, in the Premier League with Chelsea and United, in Serie A with Inter Milan and La Liga with Real Madrid.
Paris Saint-Germain would offer the most logical destination for the Portugese in terms of star talent and spendability but the French champions brought in former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel last season.
