Novak Djokovic beat Australia’s John Millman 6-3 6-2 in the final of the 2019 Japan Open.
This the Serbian’s 76th career title.
Djokovic have now beaten the Australian in all 3 occasions he has faced him his career.
In what was his first tournament since withdrawing from the US Open with a shoulder issue, Djokovic has been in imperious form and he didn’t drop a set in the entire tournament.
‘It was a fantastic week in every sense. ‘I felt great on the court, felt really welcome from the Japanese people off the court as well. They made me feel at home. Didn’t drop a set, played really well, served great… overall great experience.’
